BSA MC1

Built in the early 1950's, this is the bike that could have changed and possibly saved the British bike industry. Days before its first race the head honcho suits at BSA pulled the plug because its designers couldn't "guarantee a win" first time out. Ironically the NSU Sportmax that was the only real competition for the BSA blew up its motor, so chances are high the BSA would have won. Photo credit: the interwebs.
