1) Not sure what anything has to do with Cleveland Cyclewerks and why you would even bring that company into it. We are in Cleveland, so is Cleveland Cyclewerks. We know each other. End of Story. 2) Harley has built their reputation on "Made in the USA" so this is relevant. Even the mighty HD has had to source parts from around the world. I'm sure they didn't want to, but it's just the way it is. Bring it up to an HD's rider when he or she stupidly calls your bike jap crap or whatever and reactions get interesting and amusing. As proven here. 3) Talking shit anonymously on some random tiny insignificant blog is fucking lame.
Probably should clarify.... This wasn't necessarily intended as a stab at Harley....just need to open some eyes a bit. Just because your a fan and loyal supporter of a brand does not mean that brand is infallible. I for one have plenty of gripes with the English bike industry past and present, but the fuck if I won't be riding BSA's and Triumph's 'till the day I die. Also, if you can't live with a little China in your life, then say goodbye to your phone, computer, television, coffee maker, microwave, clothing, and on and on. If you are a consumer than you support China, period. Welcome to the 21st century, get the fuck over it. If you can't, then please...lock yourself in a mountain cabin with all the Foxfire books and figure it out. Stop bitching on the chinese computer.
Atleast CCW doesnt hide the fact that they out-source. American motorcycle riders need to realize that almost all parts these days come from another country, they just make more money that way. It doesnt mean the quality is any less. Hell anytime you buy american these days your going to pay twice as much for half the quality.
No Jap crap here...
ReplyDeletebetter toss some of them stickers on Cleveland CycleWerks bikes...
ReplyDeleteoh but wait, that's totally different because...
