Well...
This is pretty cool, but when are "cafe" dudes gonna realize that putting a big heavy battery up high behind your butt on the tail is dumb and makes your bike handle like shit. There's a reason why they come low and underneath you. Oh well, fashion over function right - no WRONG. Also, the "59" business has got to stop already. Religion and motorcycles? Not for me. I suspect most don't even realize what the "59 club" actually was/is or whatever. Fuck it, to each his own. Hail SATAN.

Shop Work
Finally got into the '68 to find out why it's jumping out of 2nd gear.
Timing side apart with transmission removed. Forgot to check end float before pulling. Damn it!!
Transmission out on the bench
Disassembled. The gear dogs are pretty worn and the cam plate was just a bit worn but really just didn't seem like a good cut. Really harsh lines and sharp edges in the tracks. Luckily I have a spare '70 trans that I'll swap a few parts with. The '70 has a thicker cam plate so I'll also need to use the cover from it as well.
Clutch side apart, since you need the clutch out before the trans can be pulled.
Time to reassemble, check end float and possibly take it right back out ;-0
